At 44-metres (144 feet) long and with an astonishing 17-metre (56 feet) of overhang, LIONHEART is presently the largest J-Class yet to have been commissioned. Built by CLAASEN JACHTBOUW, her design is based on one originally destined for the Ranger Syndicate by Starling Burgess and Olin Stephens in 1936. Now extensively optimised by Hoek Naval Architects, LIONHEART is fully MCA compliant, performing at the highest levels both when cruising and racing.
