Yachting Partners International and Hoek Brokerage are delighted to have been appointed as the joint Central Agents for the sale of the J-Class “LIONHEART”.
“LIONHEART”, is the largest J-Class Yacht yet to have been commissioned, at 144 ft (44m) loa and with an astonishing 56ft (17m) of overhang, she will be the largest J - Class in existence when she is delivered in July 2010.
Originally designed for the Ranger Syndicate, by Starling Burgess and Olin Stephens in 1936, her design has been extensively optimized by the Hoek Naval Architects to ensure that she will compete at the highest level.
"LIONHEART" is designed for cruising as well as racing, and is therefore being built to MCA Classification. No expense has been spared to ensure that she is competitive on the race course, utilizing Hall Spars vast experience to build the spars, and Harkens race proven carbon winches. From a cruising standpoint “LIONHEART” incorporates two small deckhouses and two small cockpits for the Owner and his/her guests, a unique feature which will provide added versatility to the use of the Yacht, whether Racing or Cruising.
Competitively priced, she represents a unique opportunity for an Owner looking for performance with the added versatility of a cruising configuration.
A new breed of J-Class for a new era of J-Class racing.
