William Bishop, Head of YPI’s specialist Sailing Division is pleased to announce the third sale by YPI of newbuild yachts built by the excellent Southern Wind Shipyard, and the eighth significant sailing yacht sale by the Division in just 18 months.
Launched just a few months ago, SEAWAVE is the fourth hull in the successful 102 semi-custom series and only the second to offer the exceptional Raised Saloon configuration. With exterior and interior design by Nauta Yacht Design and Naval Architecture by Farr Yacht Design, she offers a bright and airy interior with a unique “Studio” area separating the saloon from the Master accommodation forward. RINA Class certified she boasts a main sail area of 292 m2 with carbon fibre mast and boom and a draft of four metres.
“I have a great admiration for the quality of work and build of Southern Wind,” explains William Bishop, Head of YPI’s specialist Sailing division who acted on behalf of the buyer. “They build yachts our clients can rely on and enjoy. SEAWAVE is going to a repeat charter client of YPI and I take the opportunity to wish him and his family every success and enjoyment onboard whether they are cruising or racing her.”
YPI would also like to thank PEGASO led by Andrea Micheli, Elena Canepa and the team in Genoa for their invaluable support and assistance throughout.
