Description

SHAMOUN is a unique classic sloop created on the boards at Hoek Design for both chartering and family use. She features four equally sized guest cabins with ensuite facilities and a large open-plan salon and galley. A classical layout characterises her flush deck, and the traditional deckhouse contains the navigation station as well as a dining area and mini bar. There is also a full entertainment system, including a video screen and projector incorporated in the ceiling. Another handy detail is the hydraulic diving platform in the transom. The crew quarters, including a mess, are completely separate from the guest quarters, ensuring your privacy.

SHAMOUN has a range under engine of 3100 nautical miles, backups for all vital systems onboard, and a large three stage walk-in freezer and fridge for charter operations. The twin engines are coupled with controllable pitch propellers and twin rudders, and the engine rooms feature a huge floor area thanks to the fact that they are located under the floors. The yacht has a separate control/pump room. SHAMOUN has been maintained in excellent shape and enjoys an extraordinary charter record with many repeat guests. SHAMOUN has been well maintained and is in excellent shape. She is found to comply fully with the MCA requirements of which the 4th annual survey is due in 2009.
