The goal is to ensure your yacht is crewed by the very best yachtsmen available - no matter what!
YPI Management ensures all crew placed on board have the right qualifications. YPI has an incredibly thorough and involved set of procedures for recruiting and screening crew that always saves time, heart-ache and money when it comes to the final placements. All candidates are personally interviewed, all references are properly followed up, background checks are conducted and all qualifications are verified before any crew are taken onto the YPI Crew books. The Consultants also ensure any flag state manning levels are duly met and the relevant certificates are all in place.
All Crew, regardless of rank, must hold a Valid STCW stating that they have been trained in Personal Survival, Fire Fighting, First Aid & CPR and Personal Safety & Social Responsibility – in the case of an incident onboard, these cover all the basic areas needed in the health and safety of the vessel and all persons aboard. Crew also hold an ENG 1 certificate stating they are fit to be at sea.
YPI can also offer Crew a wide range of extensive training courses they can enrol on which not only serve to improve their individual skills but equally ensure the highest standards of safety and security are maintained on all YPI managed vessels.
