HELIOS represents a major breakthrough in the development of the Perini line of fine yachts and, in particular, the development of the exciting new 45.3m sloop. With a vast improvement to the layout in both the salon and cabin deck, the owner of HELIOS also wanted a fly bridge. He got this and the flexibility of not only the side boarding hull opening but additionally the fold down transom. From strictly a technical point of view the Captain now can control this yacht from a
much better vantage point (the fly bridge forward) and this leaves the cockpit for a more private and intimate gathering area for owner and guests, and the fly bridge provides additional options for people on board. HELIOS presents a unique interior with a refreshing interior design and the ability to sleep ten to as many as thirteen guests in five cabins all with en-suite facilities. All this with a special effort by Joe Smullin, one of the world's premier acoustical engineers, makes HELIOS extremely quiet under all conditions.
HELIOS is a great combination of a cruising yacht with excellent sailing performance and the most flexible interior to accommodate from a few to many guests in a moderately, shoal draft yacht.
