Day 2 – South of France - St Florent (115 miles – 7 hrs) Make a night passage from mainland France to St Florent in the North East of the island of Corsica. Wake up and enjoy breakfast at anchor at ‘la Plage de Saleccia’, a vast stretch of white beach situated in the Desert des Agreates, which is recognised to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean and can only be reached by boat. Later cruise the short distance to St Florent and spend the evening in this tranquil and picturesque fishing village which nestles at the end of a sparkling bay. Here, you can enjoy café life and all the pleasures of this isolated, scenic village. There is a good local fish restaurant on the port, known for its freshly caught fish and friendly atmosphere – Le Petit Caporal. Or for something a bit more upmarket try the excellent beachfront restaurant of the Hotel La Roya. |

Day 4 – Calvi – Ajaccio (45 miles – 3.5 hrs) Leave Calvi in the early morning and head South down the spectacular Western coast of Corsica on your way to Ajaccio - you will understand why it is called ‘The Isle of Beauty’! Stop for lunch and water sports in one of the many beautiful bays on offer along this spectacular crenellated coast. In the afternoon arrive in the large bay of Ajaccio, explore this fascinating town and maybe choose to visit the house in which Napoleon Bonaparte grew up, now a museum. |

Day 5 – Ajaccio – Bonifacio (35 miles – 2.5 hrs) No yacht charter to Corsica is quite complete without entering the dramatic port of Bonifacio, situated at the very south of the island. The port is located in a fjord like inlet, which you enter through high white limestone cliffs. The town teeters up above the lively harbour and it’s a steep, invigorating walk up into the picturesque streets. A visit to see the breathtaking views from the Citadel is a must. Maybe enjoy dinner at the ‘Club Nautique’ on the harbour, a popular local restaurant with a pleasant view over the port and offering excellent pasta and fish dishes. For golf enthusiasts the Golfe of Sperone is a magnificent course set in a wild and unspoilt location. |

DAY 6 – Bonifacio – Porto Cervo (30 miles – 2hrs) Leave Corsica en route for the Italian island of Sardinia, and explore the little islands of Lavezzi, just off the Southern tip of Corsica. Drop anchor and enjoy these low-lying pink granite islands, where you’ll find warm crystalline turquoise waters… Why enjoy a cocktail and the view over the pale pink rocks and the water at the hotel ‘Les Pecheurs’, located on the larger island of Cavallo? |
Later, cruise the short distance to the Maddalena Archipelago, a group of islands which belongs to Sardinia: this is a National Park composed of seven islands of extraordinary beauty and is wonderful to explore. In the early evening, make a sunset cruise around the tip of Sardinia to Porto Cervo on the fashionable Costa Smeralda, built by the Aga Khan in the early seventies and a summer favourite of the jet set ever since. Porto Cervo offers great shopping with many designer boutiques, fine dining and some of the most fashionable nightclubs in the world. A hot favourite of our yacht charter guests is Cipriani’s restaurant at the world renowned Billionaire’s Club. |

DAY 7 – Leave your yacht on the Costa Smeralda After a late breakfast, it is a short drive to the international airport of Olbia for your scheduled or private flight home. |
