Yachting Holidays: The Whole Boat

One of the key characteristics of a luxury boating holiday is that the client enjoys the exclusivity of booking the whole boat. Unlike cruise ships or hotels, where guests book individual rooms and cannot control the identities of the other vacationers, luxury boat holidays are always booked in their entirety for groups of families and friends. Luxury boating holidays are thus the most personalised form of vacation available, with the entire yacht, its personal chef, its flexible itinerary, and its customized service tailored to the needs of the specific charter party.

Typically, the maximum number of guests who can be accommodated aboard a luxury boating holiday is 12. Some charter yachts have more cabins for larger groups, but in general, no matter the size of the private yacht, no more than 12 guests are able to sleep onboard overnight because of international regulations.

A party of 12 guests may be accommodated in five or six cabins with a combination of king-size beds, queen-size beds, twin-size beds, and bunk-style Pullman berths that are ideal for children. The lead charter client decides which people in the group get which cabins, to ensure harmony among the guests for the duration of the luxury boating holiday whatever the yacht charter destination.

Luxury Boating Holidays Sleep 10-12

The guest areas aboard luxury charter yachts are designed to accommodate the entire charter party. If a yacht takes 10 guests, then there are usually at least 10 comfortable places to relax on the sundeck. If a yacht takes 12 guests, then the indoor dining room will almost always be able to accommodate 12 guests for a formal dinner.

Total Comfort On Your Boating Holiday

Unlike aboard cruise ships, where passengers sometimes find themselves struggling to save a deck chair or dining with strangers, a luxury charter yacht is specifically organized for the comfort and enjoyment of a single group of guests.
