French Riviera Yacht Charter
The French Riviera, which runs from Menton on the Italian border to the picturesque fishing village of St Tropez, is one of the most stunning charter grounds imaginable. Interspersed with intimate coves, charming French ports and glamorous resorts, it is one of Europe’s most beautiful stretches of coastline and in turn has become one of the most popular destinations for those considering a luxury yacht charter.

The French Riviera was discovered by the wealthy upper class in the early 19th Century and quickly became the playground of Europe’s elite families and royalty. It is still very popular and no less exclusive but has now expanded to incorporate the world’s finest and brightest, many of whom choose to spend their vacation time on a French Riviera yacht charter.
Guests on board a yacht charter of the French Riviera will also be able to explore some of the many beautiful hilltop villages that can be reached easily from the coast. For a change of scene and to perhaps escape the sometimes busy coastal towns, head up to the hills north of Nice and Cannes to the perched villages of St Paul de Vence, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, Mougins and Biot.
There are also some wonderful islands lying off the coast accessible to guests on a luxury yacht charter. The Lerins islands are a haven of peace and tranquility lying just off Cannes, whilst Porquerolles - slightly further down the coast beyond St Tropez – is a beautiful island that produces its own wine and has a nature conservatory that takes up 80% of the land.
Having listened to the advice of our most experienced captains and yacht charter crews, and taken on board the suggestions of many of our clients, YPI Group has put together a French Riviera yacht charter itinerary that takes in the highlights of this destination. This itinerary is only a suggested route, and if you have favourite areas you would like to visit on your charter please ask your dedicated YPI Group charter broker, or charter yacht captain.
